Incase that makes no sense ;)
Design a book, small pages. In the cover should be a recessed hole to hold a post it pad. Then the book owner can write on the post its and fill up the pages without fear of 'ruining' the book. Post it's could be used for recipes, poetry, general notes. Whatever. It could even be a diary, and when you look back and think 'oh no! I can't believe I ever thought that!' you just rip out the post it and bam, all evidence of mentalist thoughts are gone (and a freed up page to redesign too)
The design could be taken further if put into mass production with more interesting 'post its'... like the tracing paper you get in the moleskine travel books, or some more personalised/designed white paper.
