Version 30. Who knew designing a Christmas card would be so bloody difficult? It's not as if I'm exactly in the mode for Christmas, what with it being MAY, FFS!
Ah well. Final design decided on, and I may NOT change my mind again.
Nope
Shows front & back. Fonts: Univers Condensed and Helvetica Thin. With a certain amount of contortioning*.
The same angel from the December Calendar, with stars added. I really like this angel- I like the aspect of an angel being overwhelmed and hungover by the whole Christmas debacle, I relate it to how even the sweetest nicest people become monsters in the run up to Christmas. The 'What was I supposed to be doing' quote was used because when overloaded with things to do I am often found standing doing nothing wondering that exact thing. I wonder if 'again' should have been tagged on the end...? Too late now.
An alternative that I was trying to make was a play on the amount of cards we get from relations/friends who we have no idea who they are. "Who on earth is John & Mary?"... but after a good night's sleep I looked at it again and was appalled to connote jehova witness leaflets, so the whole thing was quickly scrapped. I could have just changed the fonts, I suppose, but the idea went sour. I do like the basic idea though. Maybe next year.
